Works at Waitrose Crowborough are now complete. This refrigeration replacement project was on site for 10 week, including full replacement of the refrigeration plant and shop floor refrigerated cases, all cold stores were refurbished and all new meat and fish, cheese, and deli and bakery were installed.
The project also included the creation of a new larger cafe, relocation of customer toilets together with a reconfigured entrance lobby which has created space for a John Lewis Better Together offer. Dry good fixtures have been fully replaced with aisles resized to improve the customer experience and a relocated beers, wines and spirts department to the latest Waitrose specification. Lots of external works have also taken place including new signage, decoration and car park resurfacing
